Polar Oceanography and Policy Course Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the polar regions,academystaffmembersdesignedthiscourse togivecadetsafoundationinpolaroceanography andtointegratepolicyconsiderations,asCoastGuard missionsincreaseinthepolarregions.Thisallows cadetstounderstandthetransitionfromscientifc researchtoCoastGuardpolicydecisions.
